We’re super excited to be working with Trash Free Trails to make Sea Otter Australia a ‘Trash Free Trails Approved’ event.
Trash Free Trails is a UK-based organisation dedicated to protecting trails and the wild places they take us through the removal and reduction of single use pollution (SUP) like wrappers, bottles, doggy poo bags, plastic bags and so on.
We can all easily play a part in caring for wildlife and natural habitats – and keeping the trails we all share beautiful – simply by removing rubbish that we see in the natural places we love, and encouraging others to do the same.
Trash Free Trails Approved is a sustainable event accreditation scheme that ensures Sea Otter Australia minimises environmental impact – as well as delivering the best experience possible. Plus the Trash Free Trails crew will be sweeping the course (boom, boom) after the race, so if you drop anything by mistake we’ll sort it out.
What makes this all even more exciting is that Sea Otter Australia will be one of the largest Trash Free Trails Approved events, alongside Red Bull Hardline, ‘Ard Rock Enduro and The Malverns Festival!
