It’s where the world comes to celebrate the wonderful sport of cycling. With a 35-year history, the original Sea Otter draws 80,000 participants at the annual event in Monterey California. It is the World’s Largest Cycling Racing & Riding Festival, Summit and Tradeshow in one.
The inaugural 2025 Sea Otter Australia was a landmark celebration that redefined the event experience as the Southern Hemisphere’s largest and most integrated cycling festival, uniting nearly 9,000 attendees and 170+ brands in a world-class event where the incredible atmosphere and sense of community proved that Sea Otter truly is for everyone.
Rocky Trail Entertainment now runs Sea Otter the Southern Hemisphere! We have secured a 10-year contract and future dates for the next 3 years are already confirmed, with the Festival scheduled for 21-25 October in 2026, for 20-24 October in 2027 and 19-23 October 2028.

Our events division, Rocky Trail Entertainment, secured the rights to establish the Sea Otter Event in Australia, which will be the first and only one of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. It is now one of only two licensed Sea Otter events in the World outside of the US alongside Sea Otter Europe in Girona Spain.
