Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the “Win The Sea Otter Australia Golden Ticket” prize draw, a promotion conducted to promote the services and events of Rocky Trail Entertainment Pty Ltd. By entering this competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Promoter & Permits

• The Promoter is Rocky Trail Entertainment Pty Ltd (ABN 50129217670).
• This competition is a game of skill. 
• The total prize pool value is $4,999.95, and as such, is a trade promotion that requires permits in certain Australian jurisdictions. The promoter holds the following permits:
  • Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Permit No: [Application pending Ref# DC359Y6R / Permit Number TBA]
  • Northern Territory (NT) regulations allow for the use of an interstate permit, so no separate NT permit is required.  

2. Competition Period

• The competition commences at 12:01 AM AEST on 24/08/2026.
• The competition closes at 11:59 PM AEST on Monday, 26/10/2026.

3. Eligibility

• Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older.  
• Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, as well as any agencies or companies associated with the promotion, are ineligible to enter.  

4. Prize Details

• The total prize pool is valued at $4,999.95 (RRP).
• The prize pool includes the following items:
  • Thule $2,089.95
  • Jaguar Stays & Foxdog Distillery $1,200
  • 2x SMITH $420
  • 2x Mogo Shuttles Burnaaga Trail value total $198
  • Muc-Off Bike Cleaning Kit $150
  • Rocky Trail – $500 race credits 2027
  • SOA – 1x Race Entry of Choice 2027 + Expo Entries for whole family $200 est
  • 2 x Payroll Smith Helmets valued at $750
• Prizes are not transferable, redeemable for cash, or exchangeable for any other goods or services.  
• Prizes do not include firearms, tobacco products, or cosmetic surgery, as these are prohibited prizes. The Foxdog Distillery gift voucher is compliant as it is not a large quantity of alcohol and can also be used at the restaurant, paying for food items on the menu.  

5. How to Enter

• Entry is free.
• The method of entry will be via an online form on the Sea Otter Australia Website, which requires participants to provide details:
  • Confirm 18+ age
  • First and Last Name
  • Email address
  • State
  • Answer the question: “Tell us in 25 words or less about what you’d be most excited to see or do at the Sea Otter Festival 2026 and why?”
  • Select where they saw the competition (Google, Facebook, Insta, Email newsletter, Bike Store, Wort of Mouth, Other)
  • Agree to Terms and Conditions.
• Entry is via the Sea Otter Australia promotional campaign:
  • Via bike retailers who request a promotional pack – participants can scan a QR code at the store that leads to an online portal.

6. Winner Selection & Draw Details

• The winner will be determined by judging entries based on merit.  
• The draw will take place on Friday, 30 October 2026, at 10:00 AM AEDT at the Rocky Trail Entertainment Pty Ltd offices at 12 Wattlebird Way, Malua Bay NSW 2536

7. Winner Notification & Publication

• The winner will be notified in writing within two business days of the draw.  
• For prizes with a value over $1,000, the winner’s name must be published. Therefore, the winner’s name and state of residence will be published by Rocky Trail Entertainment Pty Ltd on their Sea Otter Australia website and will remain visible for at least 28 days.  

8. Unclaimed Prize Draw

• If the prize is not claimed by 14 November 2026, a redraw will take place at the Rocky Trail Entertainment Pty Ltd offices at 12 Wattlebird Way, Malua Bay NSW 2536.  
• The redraw will occur on Saturday, 15 November 2026, at 10:00 AM AEDT, from all remaining valid entries.
• The winner of the redraw will be notified in writing within two business days and their name will be published in the same manner as the original winner.

9. General Conditions

• The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process.  
• The Promoter is not responsible for any technical issues that prevent a person from entering the competition.  
• The Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred by any person in connection with the prize draw.
• The promoter must keep accurate records of the lottery, including all entries, prizes, and winner details, for a minimum of 12 months, or as required by law in relevant jurisdictions.  

10. Privacy

• The Promoter collects personal information from entrants to administer the competition and notify winners.  
• Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Entrants agree to the collection and use of their information for these purposes. Entrants can request to have their personal information removed from the Promoter’s database at any time.  
• By entering this promotion, entrants acknowledge that it is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with social media platforms like Facebook or Instagram.
