Fundraise While You Volunteer!
For Clubs, Groups, and Non-Profit Organisations

Sea Otter Australia is committed to supporting our local community. We invite community groups, sporting organisations, clubs and schools to partner with us and raise funds for your cause through community service during the festival.
We understand the vital role that local clubs and organisations play, and this is a fantastic opportunity to generate revenue while enjoying the social aspect of working alongside your members.
You’ll be providing essential services to our bike visitors and athletes, contributing directly to the success of this major new festival on the South Coast. There are 23 unique roles and 200+ shifts to fill, so we have something for everyone no matter their availability.
In addition to earning money for their organisation, volunteers receive a 3-day event pass, a t-shirt and snack pack.
Our Community Squad Program
Similar to a community grants program, we offer a negotiable donation in exchange for your group’s invaluable time and support.
Here’s how it works:
- Group Size: We require a minimum of 6 volunteers from your club or organisation plus a team leader to coordinate the group.
- Negotiable Donation: The donation amount will be negotiated based on the number of volunteers provided, the duration of their commitment, and the specific roles undertaken. We are flexible and want to ensure this partnership is mutually beneficial. As a minimum guide each volunteer earns a $10 squad donation per hour. Certain roles receive a bonus payment due to the location and role description. For example the Waypoint Marshall located on a closed Forestry road Mogo Trig will receive $15 squad donation per hour completed.
- Key Services: Your group can contribute by assisting with various essential tasks such as:
- Course marshalling
- Registration and check-in
- Aid station support
- Information booths
- Event setup and pack-down
- Waste management
- Crowd control
