The Great Sea Otter Easter Egg Hunt: Find Gold at Mogo Trails!
The countdown is on! We are less than 200 days away from the massive Sea Otter Australia Festival hitting Mogo Trails this October (21–25 Oct). To celebrate, the Rocky Trail team is turning the trail network into a massive, prize-filled scavenger hunt these school holidays!
Score Rocky Trail race entries, vouchers, merch and more – plus, there’s 1x Sea Otter Australia Golden Ticket up for grabs!
RIDE & SEEK!
Whether you’re a local shredder or visiting the Eurobodalla with the family, we’ve hidden 20 Sea Otter “Eggs” across the Mogo Trails network and in the three local bike shops. Each one is your ticket to a huge prize pool featuring Rocky Trail race entries, exclusive Sea Otter merch, and more.
How to Play
It’s simple: The more you ride, the more chances you have to win!
- Find an Egg: Spot a Sea Otter sign on a trail marker or in a participating local shop.
- Scan the QR Code: Each egg has a unique ID.
- Enter to Win: Fill out the quick digital form. Each unique egg you find counts as a fresh entry!
Where to Look? (HintS)
To keep the hunt fun for all ages, we’ve kept the “eggs” on the Eastern side of the Princes Highway. Focus your search between the Curtis Road, Botanic Garden, and Mogo Town entries.
There is also one egg to find in each of the three local bike shops – Ride Mogo (Charles Street, Mogo Town), Batemans Bay Cycles (Vesper St, Batemans Bay) and Ride the Bay (Beach Road, opposite Corrigans Playground, Batehaven).
Note: You won’t find any on the Mogo Oval side or along the Burnaaga Wilderness Trail this time—but keep those legs fresh, because we have plenty more action coming to those zones later this year!

As the official “Home of Sea Otter Australia,” Mogo Trails is the heart of mountain biking in the region. We’re proud to work alongside the Eurobodalla Shire Council to showcase these world-class trails. This hunt is just a taste of the festival atmosphere coming your way in October.

- When: 5 April – 19 April 2026.
- Safety: Stay on the trails, look out for your mates, and always wear your lid.

Sea Otter Australia Easter Egg Hunt: Terms & Conditions
- Eligibility: Entry is open to all trail users. Participants under 18 must have parental/guardian consent.
- Promotion Period: The hunt runs from 5 April – 19 April 2026. Entries submitted after this period will not be valid.
- How to Enter: Scan a QR code on an official trail “egg” and complete the digital entry form. Each unique Egg ID constitutes one entry. Multiple entries are encouraged (one per unique egg found).
- Safety First: Participation is at your own risk. You must: Stay on marked trails at all times. Ensure your bike and equipment are in safe, working order.
- Prizes: Winners will be drawn from all valid entries and notified via email/phone by 20 April 2026. Prizes (including race entries and merchandise) are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
